Early childhood music and movement classes for infants through Kindergarteners and the adults who love them.
Mixed age classes:
For infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners with a parent
or caregiver. Research shows that children learn best in a mixed age
environment.
Infant/baby classes:
Infants and babies are very receptive to music and to their mother or
caregiver’s voice. Music activities and materials are especially
designed so parents and caregivers can learn as much as possible about
music development in infants and babies and can plant the seeds for
music development during this receptive time. This class is a
special introductory class for infants 8 months and younger
We offer three 10 week semesters for fall, winter, and spring, and one additional 8 week summer semester.

children have a natural ability and enthusiasm for music that grows
best in the primary years, ages birth - 5. In a playful,
musically rich and developmentally appropriate setting, Music Together
helps children develop their natural musical ability through singing,
moving, chanting, listening, and exploring musical instruments.
The atmosphere in a Music Together class invites and encourages
participation by both children and adults, regardless of music skill,
talent or training. Parents learn how to play musically with
their child and how to understand and enhance music development.
The program is directed by Carey Youngblood, a singer, guitarist,
accredited Music Together teacher for 4 years, licensed AMI Montessori
teacher, early childhood behavioral specialist and early childhood
music researcher. She has been teaching music for over 25 years
and it is the joy of her life to help families bring music making into
their lives. In addition to Carey, there are seven other talented and
amazing teachers.
