Moxie Moms | Meet the Area Manager

I am the mother of 2 wonderful children - my active, fun-loving son CJ who is 4 ½ and has a great sense of humor, and my sweet, lovable daughter Sadie who is almost 8 months. Taking care of them is a fulltime job that I am very passionate about. However, I feel that taking care of myself is the best thing I can do for my family. I think it is crucial to find friendship and support among other moms. I also believe that we must stay active, mentally and physically. Along with being a mom and wife, I am also continuing my education in Non-profit Administration. Moxie Moms allows many opportunities for socialization, recreation and ways to save
money, which is important to us all!

Anything where we can all be together and have a good time. Having kids is like getting to re-live your childhood all over again. Sledding, ice skating, roller-skating, soccer games, fishing, swimming, or just going for a walk to the park. If the sun is shining, we try to get out. This winter we enjoyed creative indoor activities like face painting, dress-up and visiting discovery science centers.

My mommy strategy . . .

I try to set good examples for my children. We have rules and guidelines, but always try to be fair. My family is the most important thing to me. We have been through a lot together which has taught me that we need to cherish each day we have together and live life to the fullest.

Before I was a mom . . .

I don’t think I truly appreciated what being a mother meant. Some days are tough, but I can’t imagine my life any other way now. I am amazed by my children everyday. I feel truly blessed
